'Sweet Something' Quilt Along Week Eleven

Week Eleven - January 10

We're heading into the home straight! It's now time to assemble our quilt tops & begin to think about binding, backing & quilting designs. So, this is week one of two weeks of putting your top together. Take the time to read the pattern & be happy with the placement of your blocks & scrappy rows - far better to be certain than to unpick! Be sure to have a look at the hashtag (#sweetsomethingquilt) as there have been a few finishes already & it's fascinating to see all of thee different versions that are popping up! There will be one final giveaway, at the completion of our Quilt Along, to celebrate the finish - the details will be in next week's blog.

This week's Instagram homework:

1. search our hashtag (#sweetsomethingquilt), then like & comment on each other's posts; take a look at the quilts that are nearing a finish, & those that are already finished

2. once you have your quilt top together please post a picture of it (& remeber to use tha hashtag so that we can all see it!)

This week's 'Sweet Something' target: begin assembling your quilt top - whether you finish it this week, or next (or even after that!) is entirely up to you! The end is in sight!!
