Kaffe Fassett Collective...
The Kaffe Fassett Collective features fabric designs from Kaffe Fassett, Brandon Mably & Philip Jacobs. The collective launches a vibrant new range in Spring & Fall each year.
Kaffe Fassett is a leading textiles designer & practitioner of contemporary crafts. He has a loyal following of patchworkers, knitters & embroiderers all over the world. A Californian by birth, he moved to the UK in 1964 where through a series of collaborations, he built his name & reputation. Kaffe has written many books on colour & design in craftwork. Known & loved by quiltmakers across the world, he inspires people to work with colour in an instinctive way.

For many years Brandon Mably organised the running of Kaffe Fassett's studio, where Kaffe trained him to knit, needlepoint, hook rag rugs, & grout mosaics. An inspiring teacher, he began travelling the world with Kaffe doing workshops. Exotic locales filled his designer's eye with inspiration & an explosion of colour & pattern. Brandon has learnt one thing over the years - that most people have buried in them a sense of colour & design. It is helping his students discover that design sensibility that continues to inspire & motivate his work.

Philip Jacobs developed a great passion for painting & for the natural world at an early age. He has been designing fabric and wallpaper for a worldwide market since 1976 & began designing fabrics for dresses, bedding & home furnishings in the early 1980's. He is now designing fabric as part of the Kaffe Fassett Collective & under his own label Snow Leopard Designs. His inspiration is drawn from his vast archive of 18th, 19th & 20th century fabrics, wallpapers, paintings & brocades.
