Seed Packet Kit
My “Seed Packets” quilt has been released at QuiltNSW. This is my second “Seed Packets”, my first was gifted to my Nanna Mac. She was an avid gardener, & had just gone into aged care when I saw this pattern - & I knew immediately that I wanted to make it for her. Whenever I have shown her quilt at my speaking engagements, I am inundated with requests for kits - even though it is very tired from being washed in an industrial laundry. So, I am happy to report that I now have kits available.
Some things to know about it:
• very limited stock
• the kit has just shy of 13 metres (!) of fabric - because you need room to fussy cut the flower block out of each piece
• however, you will have lots of fabulous fabric leftover to add to other projects!
• the fabrics included are 100% Kaffe Fassett Collective & exactly the same as those pictured above
• best binding strip options can be found here
• this quilt pattern is by Kaffe Fassett, & it is a quick, easy make• kit includes a hard copy Kaffe pattern, + three pages of notes written by me, detailing more about making my version of this quilt
• yes, it is a big purchase, but that is because of all the reasons above - & I guarantee that you will have buckets of Kaffe Collective fabric leftover to play with!
