Week Five - 29 April-6 May
This week we make the Bigger Hourglass Blocks - woohoo! the last of your blocks!! Now that you have conquered the Smaller Hourglass Blocks these will seem like a breeze! Remember that it's worth having a re-read of my tips regarding pinning & flipping seams to help with your joins.
This week's Instagram homework:
search our hashtag (#mesewhappyquilt), & take a look at the Smaller Hourglass Blocks that have been shared so far. Some fabulous stitching is taking place & that has "me sew happy"!!
share a picture of all four Bigger Hourglass Blocks together - I love seeing your posts!
This week's "Me Sew Happy" target:
prepare the fabrics that you'd like to use for this week's blocks. These Bigger Hourglass Blocks are perfect for small to medium sized prints. Again, variety is the key, not too much of any one fabric.
iron your fabrics before you cut - this ensures a better finish
